Rahee Yoon’s Block (Void, Green) reimagines the jug as a rectilinear acrylic form, its soft ombré green void appearing suspended within the frosted surface. Drawing on years of material research, Yoon approaches acrylic not as a static medium but as an active force, one that absorbs, refracts, and dissolves color within its structure. Recalling the perceptual concerns of the Light and Space movement, the work transforms the vessel into a study of transparency, chromatic atmosphere, and sculptural absence.
