Blown in clear glass, Mosaic Jug 1 is composed of organic patches of colored glass fused across its surface. Some elements remain translucent, while others carry an iridescent, opaque bloom. Suspended against the clarity of the vessel, these fragments appear to float within and across the form. Light passes through its clear body and refracts around the applied shapes, casting layered, chromatic shadows. The jug becomes both container and lens, its surface animated by shifting color, depth, and reflection.
