Los Angeles-based artist Adam D. Miller produces ceramics adorned with pictorially expressive images that are as much in conversation with print-making traditions as they are with the stoneware they are a part of. When viewing Miller’s work, we are interacting with chromatically complex and compositionally layered images, along with the texturally activated surfaces of the stoneware objects themselves.
