Anina Major’s Wounds into Silver takes the form of a sculpture pulled between collapse and repair. Strands of glazed stoneware shift from pale to dark as they overlap, separate, and gather around an uneven opening, preserving the tension of the artist’s hand. Made with stoneware and sand, the work treats rupture not as an ending, but as a place where memory, resilience, and transformation become visible.
